Kira Stewart

Known for her lush, color-drenched oil paintings, Kira Stewart's work is showcased in numerous corporate collections throughout the United States, including those of the Insurance Corporation of America in Lutz, Florida, the Sacramento Fertility Clinic in Sacramento, California, and CorVel Corporation in Rancho Cordova, California.

The artist's radiant paintings of the California landscape and her playful, luminous still lifes have supported fundraising efforts for such organizations as the Sacramento Bloodsource, WEAVE (Women Escaping A Violent Environment), Business Volunteers for the Arts, Public Television, local schools, the Sutter Heart Foundation and Maitri Residential Aids Treatment Center in San Francisco, California.

Kira's work has been showcased in magazines and on television, featured on magazine covers (Placer Magazine, Gold River Review, Inside Arden), and selected as "critic's pick", and "Show Favorites" for newspaper and television.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Studio Art from the University of California at Davis and currently works from her Northern California studio, where her husband and 3 kitties help her remember to always color outside the lines...
